Pathlore Announces PHOENIX®/PREFERENCE® Mainframe Release 7.9

COLUMBUS, Ohio - 1/21/04 - Pathlore Software Corp. today announced that its new PHOENIX/PREFERENCE Mainframe Release 7.9 has arrived and is now shipping.

This new release of the Pathlore Mainframe product line provides customers with increased productivity and new enhancements including:

• The PHOENIX Course Manager provides a centralized point of reference for accessing organized information about your PHOENIX CBT system. This new supervisor facility is geared to a learning administrator rather than a technical administrator. Summary course listings are alphabetized and are not restricted to individual files. Course listings provide in-depth information 'at a glance', saving time and keystrokes. In addition, supervisors can quickly identify problem courses that require reassembly due to entropy or dwindling space. Tools for identifying inactive programs and user IDs can further assist you in streamlining your system. An 'ID search' allows an overview of a single student across all courses to which the student is registered.

• The PREFERENCE Volume Manager provides a centralized facility for accessing organized information about your PREFERENCE CBR system. This new supervisor facility is geared to a reference administrator rather than a technical administrator. Summary volume listings are alphabetized and provide in-depth information 'at a glance', saving time and keystrokes. Supervisors can quickly identify problem volumes that require reassembly due to entropy or dwindling space. Tools for identifying inactive programs and user IDs can further assist you in streamlining your system. Finally, an alphabetized master Transaction ID list helps administrators identify and locate volumes where concurrent help processing resides.
