PHOENIX/PREFERENCE 7.7.0 SOFTWARE COMPATIBILITY WITH CICS TRANSACTION SERVER

Dear Customer,

Below is information on software compatibility for our PHOENIX and PREFERENCE software with the CICS Transaction Server.

We currently have three fully supported releases of PHOENIX and PREFERENCE. Those releases are 7.9.0, 7.8.0 and 7.7.0. If you are on one of these releases, there are no known compatibility issues with CICS Transaction Server. However, program definition changes are required. The following tables identify these changes:

Important Note for Users on Release 7.7: On July 1, 2004 Pathlore will discontinue full support for release 7.7. Pathlore will then provide full support for releases 7.9 and 7.8 only. We are encouraging all users on release 7.7 to upgrade to 7.9. Please see Pathlore Product Support Policy for more details.
