PHO/PREF
If PTF S790001 is applied, you may encounter GC500's because our
cross-region jobname table becomes full. You may also encounter
S602 ABENDs when PHOENIX/PREFERENCE is shutdown. This PTF will
backout S790001. You should then apply PTF S790004 to resolve
the original problem.
s790002 - NOTE: This is a MANDATORY
zap.
PHO/PREF
Phoenix/Preference could abend with a system B00 or S0C4.
s790003
PHO/PREF
If a course or volume has had the maximum number of users set
to zero (i.e. command "set student/0" or "set reader/0"
was issued for a course/volume), then use of the new "PHOENIX
Course Manager" or "PREFERENCE Volume Manager"
can cause the system to take an S0C4 ABEND.
s790004
PHO/PREF
If a CICS region communicating with GOALSYS runs our PHXI or PRDI
multiple times during CICS Shutdown, then the GOALSYS CBETAM task
may ABEND with an S0C1.
s790005
PHO/PREF
If the PRDP/PRDQ transactions are defined to run on a
Remote System instead of the terminal owning region,
PREFERENCE help requests will take the user to the sign
on screen and screen capture requests will not capture
the application screen.
s790006
PHO/PREF
If an old version of CBRCIH is being used, instead of
displaying the "C509 GOALSYS - OLD VERSION OF CBRCIH
BEING USED. SIGNON REJECTED" message, PREFERENCE help
requests will take the user to the sign on screen and
screen capture requests will not capture the
application screen.
s790007
PHO/PREF
PREFERENCE help requests may take the user to the sign
on screen and screen capture requests will not capture
the application screen. When the user exits from
PHOENIX or PREFERENCE due to this error, the user will
receive a GC521 GOALSYS - SIGNOFF COMPLETE message.
s790008
PHO/PREF
GSPCOPY RESTORE requests may go into a loop repeating the
following messages:
*
REMOVE PROGRAM CMD: #CPO00/xxx - PROGRAM ALREADY BEING PROCESSED
** GB435 PROGRAM: #CPO00
CAN NOT BE REMOVED FROM FILE (GSPPRG01)
s790009
PHO/PREF
If you are experiencing CICS Storage Violations due to
an invalid FREEMAIN length for a transaction COMMAREA
after upgrading to CICS TS 3.1, then you may be
experiencing this problem.
s790010
PHO/PREF
Writers or Authors using the extended block highlighting
feature may have a problem setting and unsetting
extended highlighting.
s790011
PHO/PREF
Our CICS XZCIN Exit was erroneously detecting that a TCT entry was
flagged as being a "Permanent Transaction Code" due to a change in
the TCT layout with CICS TS 3.1. Since TCT's are generally
auto-installed, it is highly unlikely that "Permanent Transaction
Codes" are used.
This ZAP has been created to eliminate PHOENIX/PREFERENCE support of
"Permanent Transaction Code" processing and their resultant
anomalies. For example, users may be unable to continue in their
application after returning from a help or screen capture request.
Z790001
PREFERENCE
Table of contents at item level in print/export displays incorrectly
when longer than one page. Parts of TOC may not be displayed or
page numbers may not be displayed. This PTF restores page formatting
information.
Z790002
PREFERENCE
Footer is misformatted when item table of contents is more than
one page in psf print and dcf export (spaces are replaced by the
'not' sign (¬)). Previous problem resolved by Z790001 prevented
execution of footer code. This PTF corrects a link level problem
and restores correct footer presentation.
Z790003
PHOENIX
Students returning to PHOENIX course from link to PREFERENCE are
scored correct on item even though the item is answered incorrectly.
This PTF saves and restores a switch that indicates whether an
item was scored as correct.
Z790005
PHOENIX
On PHOENIX-only systems, supervisor menu displays
'PREFERENCE EXPIRES IN 0 DAYS' when 30 days or less
remain on PHOENIX code. This PTF corrects the
expiration warning so that PHOENIX is identified with
the correct number of remaining days until expiration.
