DESCRIPTION: When a class plan is set for the first time by an instructor, units specified as required or optional will be lost after the instructor signs off.  Required or optional units will not appear on the units list for students in the class, and upon re-accessing the class plan option instructors and authors will see no required or optional units defined.  This error is due to programming in a check on whether the course was authored on a version of Phoenix prior to 5.0.
