PHOENIX 7.9.0 PREFERENCE 7.9.0 PTF Number: S790001B DATE: 06/03/2004 Applicability: All Users who have applied PTF S790001 Problem: If PTF S790001 is applied, you may encounter GC500's because our cross-region jobname table becomes full. You may also encounter S602 ABENDs when PHOENIX/PREFERENCE is shutdown. This PTF will backout S790001. You should then apply PTF S790004 to resolve the original problem. Circumvention If the PHXI or PRDI transaction is being run at CICS associated Shutdown, then ensure that only one of these with S790001: transactions run. That means either one PHXI or one PRDI. It does not mean one of each. Another option is to not run either of these tranactions at CICS Shutdown. The operating system will close our communications ACB driving our Close Exit Routine to clean-up. Action: Apply the following PTF. //S790001B JOB //FIX EXEC PGM=AMASPZAP, // PARM=IGNIDRFULL //SYSLIB DD DSN=GSP.LINKLIB,DISP=SHR //SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=X //SYSIN DD * * NAME GOALSYS FIXAPPL * VER 02 01 * REP 02 00 * * NAME GOALSYS CBEXCOM * VER 11F2 58E0,A130,07FE * REP 11F2 D703,2000,2000 * CHECKSUM E71659E1 * /* //
